Registration to BFR2013 is now closed.

Cancellation

Regrettably, Registration fees cannot be refunded if cancellation occurs after March 1, 2013.

A partial refund (50%) will be possible for cancellations submitted prior to March 1, 2013. All requests for cancellations must be sent to bfr2013@dtsc.ca.gov using "cancellation" in the subject line.

For persons requiring special assistance, please contact us at bfr2013@dtsc.ca.gov, we will do our best to assist in accommodating your needs.

Student Volunteers

We have a limited number of spots for student volunteers for various jobs during the Symposium which in return will reduce Sign Up fees. If you:

  • a) are a student enrolled in a PhD, MSc, or equivalent course of study,
  • b) are submitting a paper (4-page abstract) on your research, and
  • c) are self-funded and have no opportunity to apply for contributions from your University, then please contact bfr2013@dtsc.ca.gov (use "student rate" at the subject line) to volunteer your time. Please note that the volunteer positions are popular, and we cannot guarantee you a spot. We will use the information provided in your email to rank you on the volunteer list. Please attach your abstract and proof of your student status, and provide a brief summary (short paragraph) addressing the criteria above. We expect to notify successful applicants before February 1, 2013.
